Kohl Rabi 'Early Purple'
A colourful, sweet flavoured and versatile vegetable. Excellent in casseroles, stews or salads. Ideal when young and tender.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
Direct in to the garden soil in rows. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix, firm down and keep moist. Thin when 5cm high.
Care
Best in a well drained sunny position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser and water regularly to promote quick growth. Do not “mound” the plants, pick when 5-7cm in diameter. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
