Hi, how far apart should I plant Red Robbins to create a hedge about 1.5m tall along my front yard?

My front yard is about 15m wide. I intend on planting the Red Robbins along an existing brick fence. How far away should they be planted from the brick fence?

Answer: Hi Mohamad,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

We recommend planting the red robins approximately half a metre apart, and no closer to the fence than 70 cm. For the 15 m length, we recommend planting approximately 30 plants.

Before planting, improve the soil by digging in compost (5-10 cm thick) and ‘Yates Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver and Plant Fertiliser’.

Joyful gardening!
Kind regards,
Elise
