Answer: Dear Carol,

Droughtshield can be used on young plants and new foliage but be sure to water the soil around them first, and spray in the cool of the day. The Droughtshield will form a protective thin polymer film on the leaf reducing transpiration for up to 60 days.

This is an excellent product to use on the plants in your garden to protect them from the hot summer months ahead.
