What type of vegies grow best together?

We're new to vegie gardens and would like a good selection. We live in Townsville N Qld. Thanks for any info you can provide :)

Answer: Hi Kate,
Vegetables such as beans, pumpkins, beetroot and carrots are all suitable as well as the salad vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Rockmelons are lovely if you have the space. Basil, parsley and sage as well as oregano can be planted around. I have attached a link to the Yates website showing the recommended seeds to be sowed for a sub-tropical area.

Don’t forget to prepare the area beforehand with compost and organic material such as Dynamic Lifter or Blood and Bone
