At what stage do I harvest Chinese Broccoli?

My plants have very tiny flower heads on them. Do I wait for them to grow bigger? Do we eat stems and leaves as well? Thanks

Answer: you need to harvest before the flowers open. pick when unopened buds are just visble otherwise they get tougher and not too palatable once the flowers are visible. You pick a little stem 8 – 10cm so you have a bunch that looks like the chinese broccoli you see in the greengrocer’s.
