Medium_imag0105 I think I have a pumbkin growing in my garden but not sure if it is any way of knowing how to tell what it is?

I sometimes add food scraps to my garden and now I have this plant growing in my garden can you tell me what it could be it is also flowering Yellow flower. some of the Leaves are also starting to go yellow so I am thinking something must be lacking?

Answer: Hi Anne,

The plant belongs to the cucurbitaceae family which includes pumpkins and cucumbers. Once the flowers appear it may be easier to determine exactly what the plant is.
The yellow leaves may be developing due to lack of fertiliser. Watch out for bacterial leaf spot which can be worse in warm wet weather.

Apply some Dynamic Lifter or Yates Uplift Organic Liquid Fertiliser.
