how can I get rid of earwiggs, they are destroying my veggies??

they seem to make homes in my celery and silverbeet but they also appear to be eating my basil and capsicum plants that are fresh out of the punnets.

Answer: young seedlings seem to be the most vulnerable. make traps of either rolled up newspapers or empty pots stuffed with a sheet or 2 of newspaper where they will hide during the day. Dispose of the paper every morning. Alternatively a saucer or small tuna tin sunk to ground level with soy sauce and a thin layer of oil on top will foil many earwigs.
