how can i stop slant head grasshoppers from eating my vegies

i have lots of these green grasshoppers eating everything with a leaf in my vegie garden.what will kill or deter them

Answer: Dear Leanne,
The only insecticide in the Yates range that is registered for control of grasshopper is Lebaycid Fruit Fly & Insect Killer. There is however a with holding period of 7 days after spraying the vegetables before they can be picked and eaten.

You could always place a netting over your vegetables and then there is no need to spray at all.
