More have emerged to join the advanced one so maybe even more will germinate - perhaps I was too hasty.  Seeds don't always stick to the timetable on the packet especially if the weather is variable.

Eggplant Surprise

Wow, a flower on my Eggplant at last.  I was advised to keep the plant warm at night and after two nights a flower appeared!

Encouraging Sign

hi-ho to vegetables is talking about growing Beans, Capsicum, Squash, Sweetcorn, Tomato, Zucchini, Beetroot, Herbs, Lettuce, Cucumber, Eggplant from Melbourne

This was given to us by a friend for repair so don't know if someone got frustrated or not - maybe the wind cracked it.  Anyway it's an omen for me to smile despite some of my less successful growing experiences.
