I first heard of Potimarron on the Nigel Slater cooking show on ABC. The way he explained the taste and texture of this veg made my mouth water;must try to grow some I thought. Well we had our first taste last night. It is truely an exotic pumpkin. Because it is small you bake it with the skin on..but the skin is virtually undetectable and quite yummy. It has a very nutty flavour. I just baked it with a little salt, black pepper and olive oil. The texture was very creamy; and it was full of very mature seeds so I will be able to keep growing it.
