This is the Collingwood bed dedicated to my late husband.  I am growing his favourite Grosse Lisses tomatoes in it.  Added Basil as well.  The plants are doing very well.  Charlie would be pleased!

Zucchinis are Flowering

I have Zucchini plants at different sizes so this will hopefully extend the harvesting later on.  My biggest plants have just begun flowering.  Not long now until we will be able to pick them.

Snails in the Garden

The snails are becoming a problem.  My son has collected about 100 of them in the last couple of nights!  They attacked my Green Beans and must be very hungry.  They have even been eating my Potato plants! He has even found them ...

Yellow Beans

Also called Butter Beans.  These are a Yates variety.  I love them with butter, salt and pepper.  Best picked when young.  Beans are a great vegetable to grow, no fuss!
