How do I time the planting of lettuces and tomatoes so they are ready for eating at the same time?

Submitted: 02:38PM, 09 Feb 2010
Answer: Hi Lyn, look at the back of the seed pack and see the “weeks to maturity” this will allow you to plan ahead although tomatoes will fruit over a period of several weeks from this time. Lettuce plantings should be staggered over a period of weeks to prevent all the lettuce being ready at one.
