is it correct that systemic insecticides like Mavrik can be more effectively absorbed through the roots, and so don't need to be sprayed on foliage

Answer: Hi Michael, no this is totally incorrect especially in the case of Mavrik which is not systemic. This product must legally only be used according to directions, so if there is no mention of soil drenching and rates of dilution given,then the product is unsuitable. Always check the label or contact us and be very dubious of ‘off-label’ advice.
