How to Use
Apply every 8-12 weeks at any time of the year, during period of active growth. For best results, apply at least in early spring, early summer and early autumn. For sandy soils, apply at half rate and repeat every 6-8 weeks.
Application
Step 1: Water the lawn well and allow to dry before application.Step 2: Calculate lawn size and required amount of Hortico Lawn Fertiliser.Step 3: Apply to lawn evenly at the recommended rate. To ensure an even application, apply half the required fertiliser amount walking in a north-south direction and the rest in an east-west direction. For large areas, use a spreader.Step 4: Always water in well after application of fertiliser.
Precautions
- Do not apply if the maximum temperature exceeds 30 degree Celsius, the soil is dry or the lawn is moisture stressed. Early morning is the ideal time to apply.
- Product may stain hard surfaces when wet. Ensure hard surfaces are dry before application.
- Sweep product off driveways and paths onto lawn immediately after application, before watering.
- Avoid breathing the dust. Always wear a dust mask and gloves when applying and do not apply during windy conditions.
- Wash hands and affected parts immediately after applying.
Safety
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store out of reach of pets, as some may find the product attractive to eat. To help prevent consumption after application, water in immediately.
Storage
Always keep product dry and in a cool place out of direct sunlight. A bucket with lid is an ideal storage container, together with the original bag as reference.
Warning
Do not swallow. The dust from this product may act as an irritant. Avoid inhalation and contact with the eyes and skin. If eye contact occurs, flush with water immediately. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and give water to drink. Seek medical advice.
