How to Grow Babies Toes

Plus, in summer, stunning yellow-white flowers appear from the middle of the clumps, taking this baby to the next level! How to grow babies toes in a pot

Step 1

Choose a pot just deeper than the existing root-ball and position indoors in a brightly lit spot, or outdoors sheltered from the harsh afternoon sun.

Step 2

Partially fill the pot with quality potting mix, such as Yates Premium Potting Mix.

Step 3

Remove the plant from the container and gently tease the roots.

Step 4

Position in hole and backfill with potting mix, gently firming down. Water in lightly.

Step 5

Feed lightly with Yates Dynamic Lifter Liquid Concentrate in Spring.

Growing tips

Avoid having the plants sit in water as they don't like having wet feet.
Babies toes can grow well outdoors in a pot, if sheltered from heavy rains and the hot afternoon sun.
Best grown in shallow pots as a feature plant or together with other succulents such as Haworthia spp.
