Psidium guajava
How to Grow Guava
If you're looking for something different to grow, try Guava! Some have deliciously sweet, aromatic and tropical-tasting fruit, others are slightly sour or tangy. They are perfect for eating fresh or making into jams, smoothies or desserts. And the trees are generous when it comes to fruiting, so there will be lots to share! Native to Central and South America, Guavas are large shrubs to small evergreen trees, growing 4–6 m tall and 4–6 m wide. They have attractive white flowers and can be grown as both an ornamental and a fruiting plant.
